Everyday Matters is a friendly community designed to encourage members to expand their creativity. Our main focus is on drawing and creating illustrated journals but we welcome creative people from all disciplines. Our group includes members of all degrees of ability and experience — from those who have never drawn before to professional illustrators, artists, and teachers.
In 2004, our group grew out of Danny Gregory’s weblog, and book, Everyday Matters, and now has thousands of members all over the planet*.
We are always developing new ways to support and encourage each other. Most members love to share their recent drawings for the group to comment on (always in a friendly and constructive way); it’s a great way to learn.
Many of us participate in a weekly drawing challenge, making drawings on a theme proposed by one of our members.
Then we share our work on our personal blogs or in our Flickr group.
